01About Our Products

9L3D produces and sells physical 3D-printed collectibles, articulated figures, display pieces, and related physical products.

Products offered by 9L3D may be created from:

• Original designs developed by 9L3D;
• Designs used with permission from their creators; or
• Third-party models made available under licences that permit the production and commercial sale of physical prints.

We review the applicable design source and licence information before offering a product for sale.

02Rights and Licence Review

Before using a third-party model, we review the licence or written permission associated with that model.

Depending on the applicable licence, 9L3D may be permitted to print, modify, resize, assemble, paint, finish, photograph, advertise, and sell the resulting physical product.

We retain available records relating to the design source, licence, attribution requirements, and modifications made by 9L3D.

A product will be removed from sale if we determine that the required permission is unavailable, has expired, has been withdrawn where legally applicable, or does not cover the intended commercial use.

03Important Limits of Model Licences

Permission to use a 3D model applies only to the rights controlled by the model’s creator or licensor.

A model licence does not automatically grant permission to use:

• Third-party character designs;
• Brand names or logos;
• Trademarks;
• Artwork belonging to another company;
• Protected fictional characters; or
• Other intellectual property not owned or controlled by the model creator.

04Original and Third-Party Designs

Original designs created by 9L3D remain the property of 9L3D unless otherwise stated.

Third-party designs remain the property of their respective creators or rights holders. Using a third-party design under a licence does not transfer ownership of that design to 9L3D.

Any modifications, manufacturing work, assembly, painting, finishing, product photography, packaging, or other original contributions made by 9L3D do not create ownership of intellectual property belonging to another party.

05Physical Products Only

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, all products sold through 9L3D.com are physical items.

Purchases do not include:

• STL files;
• CAD files;
• Source files;
• Downloadable model files;
• Reproduction rights;
• Resale rights in any digital design; or
• Permission to manufacture additional copies.

06Creator Attribution

When attribution is required by a licence, 9L3D provides the creator’s name, source-model page, applicable licence, and modification information.

Community creators

The Dummy13 format exists because of these designers. Each name links to the creator’s profile.

Model attributions

07Additional Attributions

Additional creator attributions may appear on individual product pages.

Before adding another model to this page, the following information should be confirmed:

• The creator’s correct name or profile name;
• The exact original model URL;
• The complete name and version of the licence;
• Whether commercial sale of physical prints is permitted;
• Whether attribution is required;
• Whether modifications are permitted;
• Whether the model contains third-party intellectual property; and
• Whether any additional authorization is required.

08Product Names and Descriptions

Product names and descriptions are intended to identify the physical item being sold and describe its features accurately.

9L3D does not use another party’s brand name, character name, logo, artwork, or trademark in a way that falsely suggests an official relationship.

Where legally appropriate, a reference may be used only to describe compatibility, inspiration, or another legitimate characteristic. Such a reference does not mean that the product is official merchandise or that the referenced rights holder has approved the product.

09No Unstated Affiliation

Unless expressly confirmed on the relevant product page, 9L3D is not sponsored by, endorsed by, affiliated with, or an authorized merchandise partner of any third-party company, entertainment franchise, model creator, brand, or rights holder.

We do not issue customers or resellers authorization to use intellectual property that 9L3D does not own or have the right to sublicense.

10Intellectual Property Concerns

We respect the intellectual property rights of creators, designers, businesses, and other rights holders.

If you believe that content or a product displayed on 9L3D.com infringes rights that you own or are authorized to represent, please send us:

• Your full name and contact information;
• Identification of the work, design, trademark, or other right involved;
• The URL of the relevant 9L3D product or content;
• An explanation of your ownership or authority to represent the rights holder;
• A description of the reported concern; and
• Any supporting documentation reasonably available to you.

We will review complete notices in good faith and may temporarily restrict or remove the relevant content while the matter is reviewed.

11Corrections to Attribution

Creators and licensors may contact us if an attribution is incomplete or inaccurate.

After verifying the request, we will make an appropriate correction. An attribution correction does not necessarily establish that a separate infringement has occurred.

12Licensing and Collaboration

We welcome legitimate licensing, design, and manufacturing collaborations with independent creators and rights holders.

A collaboration or licensing arrangement is valid only when its scope and commercial permissions are documented clearly by the parties involved.
